Old Hurricanes Old Cleanup Old Volunteers

A collection of paper pics taken during involvement in (NAMB) Southern Baptist Disaster Hurricane Relief trips to Florida that started with Hurricane Andrew and continued til 2008.

The area is Pensacola Florida.
The dates on the back of some of the pics is 2004.
A few pics have names. Some were developed at stores. Some were printed from a digital cam to a home printer. The disaster crews shared their pictures of weather history with their fellow volunteers and mailed them to each other after they got home.
Back then...the Salvation Army and the Baptist Group and the Red Cross worked together to get the job done. The Baptist focused on the feeding. You can see the Salvation Army trucks parked close by. Street scenes showing some of the work the volunteers had done clearing the streets.
