This postcard has a long journey getting to this spot and being listed on Ebay. A Marine in the 70s on his way to Viet Nam was on a ship that stopped in different places. He picked up this and other listed postcards here in Okinawa.
Tower of Hokon
This tower is dedicated to the souls of Lt. Colonel Igawa and other unknown soldiers and about 3000 native civilians who died in the fierce battle of Iejima. The Rocky hill in the background is Itatchu.

Family Photographs and How to Date Them....
I love this book! I have switched to the Kindle version of it because I have "downsized" my area to save things. We have lost just about everyone in our family who knew who were in the family pics. So I will be using this book for sure!
So if you are lucky enough to still have people in your family who know the "who's " in your family pics write it on the pics before the info is lost forever!

I must confess I am an addict to real time tv/Netflix,Amazon/YOu tubevlog of resellers and to binging on a whole season of shows like Downton Abby, West Wing, Hart of Dixie and Gilmore Girls!
Well for all you youngsters, this guy started my addiction. He was my first "talk" radio show I listened to when I was a kid. He connected with real things happening at that time. He raved about the beauty of flights over Baltimore City Christmas lights at night. He talked about his horses in Leesburg, and loved Hawaii. He made you feel like you were there with you. He brought young entertainers on and made them stars with the way he made you like them. When he moved on to the newcomer, tv ...fans including me followed!
He had such power over his listeners and worked it well!

Battleship the Hand Held Electronic Version
I got this at a local animal rescue thrift store. It turns on, has very low sound and the yellow buttons move the objects on the screen around. I have no directions or nearby grandsons to explain how to turn it off, or make the sound louder or start a game. It needs a new owner and it might need work before it works. So I am pricing it low and sending it on its way down the Ebay highway.

My aunt Ruth was the first one to introduce me to approaching good health and including natural health ideas presented by author Adele Davis while I was in college. And then years passed and I
started seeing this guy on afternoon tv shows. I was so tired of the then current MD approaches to health presented in the doctor offices: medicines...medicines...medicines...as the ONLY way to good health. I have followed his ideas through his books and appreciate his contributions to good health!
This book was printed in 1995 and updated in 1998.

Parking Places and Snow and Baltimore
Now that my cousin Lois has gone to be with a lot of our family on the "other side" I have no one to call over in Baltimore to see if all still "guard their cleared parking spots with chairs" following a big snow.
I did get to see my first snow though since 2008 recently! I have walked and danced in a snow shower over here in the Fburg. But now I "guard" my parking space but not leaving the apartment building and using Amazon til all is clear! Of course the minute I heard a snow was coming I made sure I had enough DP and moon pies also! But Ahhh for one pic of the ol Baltimore tradition!
