HERE'S A EBAY/POST OFFICE CHUCKLE FOR YOU

 I sold this postcard on Ebay in September 2021. I shipped it out and it arrived back here where I found it in my mailbox  today 1/24/22. It says undeliverable  as addressed. I emailed the buyer and will send it on if I hear from her. I then googled the address Ebay had sent to me to use in September. It's the post office's address...!

He right today has 26771 postcards for sale in just his Ebay store. His prices are reasonable. He has a Youtube channel where he explains and answers all kinds of info about postcards.

3007 US counties to see on these computer chairs trip!
This trip is fun like Star Trek's "The Next Generation's" characters visits to their Holadeck . Like them we can stop when we want and go back to the places when we want. We can pick the postcards we want like they picked their characters, time and places. Originally I was going to do all the counties in one state and then move to another state. But that became boring. So that's what this update is all about. The Star Trek crew could go in and out and take breaks if they wanted. And that is what I have done also. Life has recently dealt me unexpected turns that have taken much of my time but now I am ready to travel again! So come along and join the fun

OMG! LIFE IS TOUGH... I CAN HANDLE ELECTION RESULTS BUT NOT THIS!!!!!

 

TEARING DOWN"OUR MUST STOP ON WAY TO FLORIDA"!

FREDERICKSBURG VA PRATT HEALTHCARE

 If you live in Fredericksburg Va and use Pratt Healthcare be aware if you call the Office on Hospital Drive their phones don't work calling them. You get the initial recording voice and it tells you to press a number and they they say to hold on ....well I have held on since last Thursday and no path to get ANYONE works calling in. They can call out but you can't call in on any of their choices. Very dangerous legally medically. Their office people and doctors are wonderful. This is the dumbest longest very dangerous legal medical situation I've ever seen not corrected on an emergency level.. They need to put on new recordings alerting callers they won't get real people no matter how long you wait. Their portal will not work for me and I can't get their help to fix it even just to get in to see lastest blood work.

And dont expect help from Fred healt dept their number is not working beyond that first recording either.

And don't bother calling other Pratt healthcare locations ...they said if the number didn't work for me it wouldn't work for them. And so did the nasty lady at the CVS I called.

Caremark listed and is trying to fax them to let them know people still can't reach them and they reordered my Rx. Thank you Ivory for caring to listen and attempt to help this 82 year gal!

I understand how hard everyone is working during this covid. And I thank and love them.

But Fredericksburg needs to take a long hard look at their medical responsibilities to help their elder, handicapped and/or poor citizens.

I lived here in the 70s and am back here now after being in Maryland and Florida and NOW is not as good as it was long ago here or now in MD or Florida.

Hey Sandy...I know that you're not in area code 804 but I wonder if some of these issues might also be related to the huge switch over with having to input area code numbers when calling places? I'm actually surprised that they wouldn't at least have the Free Lance Star place something in the paper to let people know the lines are down!

  It's not what the healthcare places and hospitals are doing for the patients that is wrong. It's what they are NOT doing for their patients that they need to be doing... It needs to change. People here deserve more. I am speaking up because of what I saw my good friend go through these last couple of months. JW being on the vol rescue squad and vol fire dept when we were here before I know how hard these people work. But the higher ups need to talk with the people who didnt get what they needed. But I will pass on my thoughts and what Ive seen and what I am seeing for my buddy Marie.! I hope the Free Lance-Star picks up the flame of improving meeting the needs of the older, the handicapped and the economically limited people. I love this town.
